The National Sheep Improvement Program

The National Sheep Improvement Program (NSIP) helps Texel breeders make better breeding decisions through the use of Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs).

By submitting performance data, breeders can identify superior genetics, make more informed selection decisions, and accelerate genetic progress within their flock.

NSIP compares animals within and across flocks to provide an objective measure of genetic merit and generates reports that help breeders build more productive and profitable sheep.
