Description:

Registered Rams and percentage ewe lambs

Description

We have a reg yearling ram up for consideration he is big bodied with alot of scale. He has the UK style head as he is out of a wizard sired ewe and she is also our biggest sheep on the farm! He is very docile as well and has a great disposition. Plenty of muscle in this fella as well. We have several registerable ram lambs as well, along with a couple percentages ewes. They would be 88% Texel, very solid ewes.

Texel ewes

Description

We have a few registered yearling - 3 year old ewes we will be offering off the farm. We have been keeping several ewe lambs over the last couple years and only have so much grass so we have to let a few go. We have loin eye scanning data on most of them as lambs. These ewes are raised on fescue pastures in Missouri, so they should thrive in about any pasture-based operation. This is an excellent opportunity to make a starter flock and then you could buy a phenomenal ram at the stud sale that would be non-related. We are located near El Dorado Springs, Missouri. With the Midwest Stud Ram sale coming up there are lots of hauling opportunities all across the US. We can coordinate transportation to the Midwest Stud Ram sale at no cost. This particular ewe in the picture was sired by a ram out of the UK Ram Granite Untouchable which is in the top 1-5% for many traits including eye muscle depth and 8 week growth.
